JOB SUMMARY:
As the Chief Development Officer (CDO), you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and development of our early childhood education company. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the executive team, you will be responsible for charting the course for our expansion, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, and ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of the industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.
Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisitions growth strategy aligned with the company's vision and objectives, taking into account market dynamics, competition, and regulatory considerations.
2.
Acquisitions: Ensure adequate pipeline of targets and consummation of deals to meet company’s aggressive acquisitions goals. Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and potential acquisitions that align with our mission and can accelerate our growth.
3.
Market Reputation and Relationships: Develop market relationships and represent the company in a way that ensures a high quality company and a brand reputation aligned with our company values
4.
Investor Relations: Maintain a strong working relationship with our private equity sponsor and be able to communicate investment opportunities and risks concisely and well. .
5.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to assess the profitability and feasibility of growth initiatives and acquisition opportunities, making data-driven recommendations to guide decision-making.
6.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing development team, fostering a collaborative and driven culture to support the company's ambitious growth plans.
7.
Industry Trends: Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in early childhood education, incorporating best practices and innovations into the company's development strategies.
8.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team and board, updating them on the progress and results of growth initiatives.
