Company Overview


The Curriculum Program Director is located at our School Support Center in Scottsdale, AZ. Reporting directly to the VP of Talent Development & Curriculum, the Curriculum Program Director oversees the implementation and effectiveness of the school curriculum taught across the Company. The leader measures outcomes, ensures benchmarks are met, and supports teachers in delivering the curriculum.


  1. Develop and execute strategies designed to assess the effectiveness of our proprietary curriculum including measuring kindergarten readiness, parent satisfaction, and teacher efficacy in delivering content.
  2. Establish timeline and project plan to ensure all schools under the Cadence umbrella adopt and execute curriculum.
  3. Work with organizational leaders to obtain full accreditation for our proprietary curriculum.
  4. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with school directors. This role will support the process used to provide teachers with observational feedback.
  5. Responsible for process improvements and curriculum development updates when appropriate.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have an understanding of curriculum and instructional design principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of both adult and child learning principles.
  • Requires proven organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to deliver programs and facilitate trainings to various audiences.
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of word processing tools and other relevant software packages
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
  • Travel will be required.

Education or Equivalency:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, curriculum and instructional design, or any related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
  • Master's degree preferred.


  • Requires a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive practitioner experience or related experience that demonstrates a high level of understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Strong curriculum development skills and experience with accreditation processes preferred.
  • Experience in early childhood education, preferred
